13 YEAR Anniversary

& Holiday Kick-Off Event

Guest Teachers/Special Class Events

October – Merc Art Metal Embossing

November – DeNami Design

We have two special class events coming up!  The first is on October, 18^th.  Magdelena, owner of Merc Art will be here to teach us two classes on the wonderful art form of metal embossing.  One class is for beginners, and one is for the more advanced.  You can take one or both.  For each class, you will be required to bring or purchase a list of supplies.  She will also be bringing with her a trunk show of tools and products for you to purchase.

DeNami Design is a company that I carried in the past.  Many of you asked if I would carry them again.  Their returning debut to my store is a two-day weekend of classes being taught on Friday and Saturday, November 14^th and 15^th.  You will have your choice of three different classes or sign up for all three!  Samples should be here soon!  And of course, all stamps used will be available for purchase!

Both of these class events were advertised last month in a newsflash so I already have sign-ups, so don’t delay, call and sign up as soon as possible.  Class sizes are limited.

Christmas Lunch

After Morning Madness on Thursday, December 11^th, we will be having a Christmas Lunch.  Everyone is invited to attend even if you haven’t participated in the day’s class.  We will make the lunchtime 12:00 p.m.  Please bring a covered dish to share.  Also, bring a wrapped $10 stamp gift for a Chinese gift exchange.  Christmas is a time of sharing.  Mark your calendars for this fun time to see old friends and make new ones.

Holiday Stamp In

Take a break from the malls, come, and enjoy a fun and relaxing day at Imprints.  Come join me on Saturday, November 29^th for a day to work on your Holiday cards or projects.  Bring your stamps and supplies.  A 10% class discount applies today if you come for the stamp in

Christmas Open House

Join us on Saturday, December 6^th for a day of Holiday fun!  I have ideas for some fun, easy, holiday make it –take its.  So, let’s make it a come and go all day event.  You can pick between three make it-take its or if you have time you can make all three.  Each one is a low $3.00 fee just to cover the products used.  For sure, one is going to be an easy mini book, a Christmas card, and one other fun, easy project.  The Open House day will also include refreshments, and a “pick an ornament” for a special discount!  Don’t miss this fun day!

Cards To Go

The Cards To Go kits have been such a huge success that I have been running out of the kits by the second week of the month, so beginning with the October kit, I will increasing the number of kits I make from 10 to 15.  That is good news for you!  These kits are designed for those of you that either don’t like to take classes, don’t have time on Saturday’s to spend taking classes, or for those who like to have an idea created and you can just follow the instructions to make it!  Each kit consists of products to make the featured card including the cardstock, the stamps, and any embellishments used.  Plus, it includes a color copy of the project with instructions and a list of basic supplies needed including a list of stamp pads and/or marker colors used.  Cost of each kit will vary depending on the products included.  One different kit is featured each month.  Don’t miss out on getting these kits! 

Catalog Party Day

& Special Orders at Year End

We will have one more catalog party day before the end of the year.  Come in on the first Saturday of November (the 1^st).  We will put out 4 different companies that you will be able to look through and have a chance to special order just what you want!  Take 10% off your order when you take advantage of this event  This day will be one of your last chances to request special orders before the end of the year because we really try to slow down on our ordering as we go into December.  So, if you need a  certain stamp ordered just know that it could possibly be January before it gets ordered.  Thanks for your understanding.

Come in on Saturday, December 13th to have the chance to be the first customers to see new images from the Hero Arts 2009 catalog.  Every year Hero Arts give stores a chance to pre-order a selection of stamps from their 2009 catalog.  No, I haven’t seen the new images yet, but…I’m sure they will be wonderful as usual!  I will also have catalogs for you to purchase and you may look through the new catalog and see if there are other items you must have.  That list will go on our first 2009 order just for you!

The Triple S

aka Sunday Shoebox Swap

Every 1^st Sunday of the month Ruth hosts the Triple S!  The time is 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The rules are simple.  At home, you will design a card.  Then you will take a shoebox and put into that shoebox all items, everything that is needed to make your card enough for 8 people.  You don’t have to add adhesive to the box but be sure to bring some for your participation in the swap.  Your card design should have at least one layer.  All participants will make one of every design!  There is no fee!  But just for participating, you can take 10% off your purchases of the day!  See you every first Sunday!
