Greetings to all!  I have been trying to dig in my heels to stop the holidays from coming so fast but it just isn’t working!  Whether we like it or not, the holidays are fast approaching!  So, let’s kick it off with my store’s Anniversary party and Holiday Kick-Off Event.  I have been in business for 13 whole years!  So hard to believe, isn’t it?  I must again take this opportunity to tell all of you, my customers, how much I appreciate your support, your continued patronage, and your inspiration.  I would not still be here without you!

This party is just one event that is scheduled for the coming months.  We have not one but two guest teachers coming to teach.  In October,Magdalena with Merc Art Metal Embossing will be coming to teach both a beginning and an advanced class.  In November, will have two days of awesome classes with DeNami.  They are sending one of their best teachers for these 3 fun classes.  We also have some other new classes from our regular teachers, including copic classes, beginning and advanced, soldering, card classes, and fun easy projects for the holidays.  Check the class schedule for details.  Also, look for details on the Christmas Open House on December the 6^th.  This event will include make it take its and more holiday fun! 

I have included December happenings in this newsletter.  So, expect the next newsletter, probably a mini one, around the end of December.  This one will give you all the details for the January stamp conventions.  Also, make sure I have your email address so you can receive my newsflashes. 

We will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and a day for inventory, date to be announced.  So I guess I should say to you…Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, and Happy Holidays!  And Happy Stamping!

Help for Troops

I have a group of customers that get together and make cards for the troops.  These are for the troops to send back home to their loved ones.  How can you help?.  Do you have any cards that you have made or have received in swaps that you would like to donate?  Even card fronts can work because they can finish the outsides and leave the insides blank. They would like them to be  A2 size cards because they will be providing the envelopes to send with them.  They are planning on making  Xmas cards however, they always also send birthday, thinking of you, kids, anniversary, masculine cards, etc.  They are getting together on October 18^th and they will be picking up your donations on Sunday, October 19^th.  Or if you would like to participate in making the cards, contact me and I will let you know when and where!  Their goal is to make 1000 cards to send!

Coupon Books

Now an annual tradition, the 2009 coupon books you will go on sale December 1^st   They are available for purchase through the month of December.  Most years, there have been some left for you to purchase in January, but this last year I ran out at the end of December and I made even more than in previous years.  So, don’t delay, because once they are gone, they are gone.  Each book has 13 coupons, 1 coupon for every month of the upcoming year, plus a bonus coupon, the best coupon of all.  The bonus is the birthday coupon where anytime in your birthday month of 2009 you can take a discount equal to how old you will be on your birthday!  The only stipulation I must add is that the coupons must be used on in stock items, no special ordering.  The coupon books sell for $5.00.  Make sure you get one, you will not be disappointed!

Gift Certificates

Just a reminder I will have gift certificates to sell to your family and friends.  In most cases, you really get double the amount of the gift certificate value because you get the punches on your card too!  It’s a great deal.  And remember your family and friends do not have to make a trip to the store, all they have to do is make a phone call or send me an email and I will take care of it!
